What is overclocking? [-]
Overclocking is the process of making a PC run faster than it is specified to. E.g. Running a CPU rated at 2.4ghz at 3ghz. It could also mean running at tighter memory latencies or a higher graphics core speed.

Is overclocking dangerous? [-]
It is not at all for someone who is experienced and trained. For someone who does not know how to overclock properly, it could result in hardware failure, electrocution and even fires.

Will overclocking hurt my system? [-]
If a system is overclocked properly, it will not. This is why we stress the importance of choosing the right people to have your overclock done for you. Our experience ensures that there is a clear safety limit on how hot or how high a voltage we will config any system to run at. Running a system at the wrong voltage or temperatures can cause any part of the system to die earlier than expected.

Will overclocking shorten the lifespan of my system? [-]
Once again, if the overclocking was done properly and safely, it will not. The practical lifespan of your parts will not be shortened significantly after overclocking and your parts should last as long as it should when it is not overclocked.

Could overclocking kill any of my components? [-]
Yes it could. However, this would most likely be due to faulty hardware or components used during the manufacturing process. Today’s over-engineered motherboard and graphics cards, prevents this from happening. The chance that this could happen to you is a mere 1%.

Will I get a better price if I want more than one service? [-]

Where is your office located? [-]
As a dot com company, we operate mainly from home. We are located in Pasir Ris, Yishun, Jurong and Tampines.

Is there an established process for overclocking? [-]
Yes we do have our very own process for overclocking. This is to assure all our clients and customers that we do not use their systems for trial and error or for other testings.

What are the delivery timings I can choose from? [-]
Delivery timings on weekdays are from 8 to 12 midnight. For weekends from 12 noon to 2am. Delivery is subject to transport availability and timing. We do not trust others to handle your PC so we send them personally one by one. Your PC gets the best handling and our clients get the best service.

What are the payment methods? [-]
Cash is the preferred method of payment. We also except internet banking transfers, Paypal and bank cheques.

Will there be a cancellation fee should I decide to cancel my order after I have confirmed the build? [-]
Yes there will be a fee of $100 or 5% of any parts that have already been purchased. (Whichever is higher)

What about service warranty? [-]
Our overclocking/tuning packages come with one year carry in warranty. We’ll retune for free. However, any changes in hardware renders the warranty void and a retuning fee will be charged. All customers are entitled to a one time free onsite follow up when they take on an overclocking/ tuning package.

My PC has some problems after the one year warranty; can Topgear OC Tech still help? [-]
Of course. Just help us to cover some of our transport costs and who knows maybe we could extend an act of goodwill and waive the service fees.
